7. FES 310™ – Shoulder Setup – Lesson/Quiz

Setup and Placement

1. Attach the surcingle to the horse.
2. Connect either the neck back or leg harness to the system, ensuring each shoulder is treated separately.
   Note: Avoid wetting the area, placing the self-stick electrodes on the shoulder, as directed.
3. Attach the electrodes to the correct harness wires.
4. Apply conductive gel.
5. Connect everything to the system.
6. Set the treatment time. Twenty minutes is recommended per shoulder.
7. Adjust the intensity until you see muscle contractions.
8. Following treatment, turn the system OFF.
9. Disconnect and store the equipment.
10. Clean the electrodes.
